what do get fit with em classes look like
We all have goals. In many forms. They are our dreams and aspirations. It when it come to health and fitness goals, they can be a bit of a minefield. So you want to lose 4 stone. This is great, but this is a very big goal and in fact can seem quite daunting, it’s a mountain to climb and sometimes set ourselves up to fail before we start.
get smart about your goals
01 be specific
Let’s get down to the nitty gritty, why do you want to react that goal. To feel better about yourself, be able to look in the mirror and be proud, to be able to have kids. You get where I’m going.
02 Break them down
Set yourself smaller goals, this will keep you motivated to keep going to the bigger goal. And don’t just concentrate and the number goal. Make sure you have some none scale goals as well.
03 set a date
When do you want to achieve it by and why? What’s important about that date.
I want you to do this before you start, once it’s done, go smash those goals Babe!
any level workout
Before any workout you need to warm up, this will help to prevent injury. Jog on the spot, twist, stretch; rotate your arms forwards and backwards. Just to get your heart rate going and muscles nice and warm.

Beginners
Do each exercise for 30 seconds, the rest for 30 seconds. Once you have completed one set, have a 2 minute rest then complete it again.
Feeling Brave
Do each exercise for 30 seconds, the rest for 30 seconds. Once you have completed one set, have a 2 minute rest then complete it another 2 times. Add Weight to the punches, squat kick, lunges and Russian twists.
Intermediate
Do each exercise for 30 seconds, the rest for 30 seconds. Once you have completed one set, have a 2 minute rest then complete another 2 times.
Posture tips
With all exercises make sure you are bracing your core and Keep you back straight.

I led an active lifestyle as a child; I started dancing when I was 3 and did this until my early teens. I did martial arts until my late teens. Then like many of us left home and found alcohol and takeaways. After a few years of piling on the pounds, I looked in the mirror and didn’t like what I saw, I hated it, was really down on myself and there was no way I was keeping the lights on. so decided I needed to do something about it and joined the gym and tried every yo-yo diet going. Like everyone. None worked.
After having my 1st daughter, I wanted to quit the yo-yoing but there was so little quality information out there, I decided to really learn about what leading a healthy balanced lifestyle was.
I’ve always been passionate about food and really wanted to learn about how to fuel my body and learn how to train properly.
After having my 2nd daughter I decided to turn my passion into a career and did a Level 3 Diploma to become a PT & nutritional advisor specialising in pre & postnatal nutrition and exercise.
I have 2 children so know how hard it is to balance it all.
It’s been a long road to get where I am, physically and mentally. I’ve had my set backs, times where I’ve been my smallest and still thought, no I’m not happy and that’s where your mindset comes into play.
Learning to love and appreciate your body and what it can achieve the physical results will then follow.
